Office Accounting & Cost Control:
- Record daily site expenditures, supplier payments, and petty cash transactions.
- Monitor material delivery and labor-related costs on-site.
- Collect, verify, and file vendor invoices, delivery notes, and work completion records.
- Maintain accurate records of subcontractor payments and labor attendance sheets.
- Prepare and send regular cost reports and cash flow updates to the main office.
- Coordinate with the procurement and site engineer teams for verification of goods/services.
Communication & Reporting:
- Prepare weekly and monthly expense reports for submission to the head office.
- Provide accurate documentation and cost data to assist with project budgeting and forecasting.
- Communicate with the main office regarding fund requests, supplier payments, and invoice approvals.
- Participate in regular audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
Administrative Support:
- Manage office documentation including receipts, vouchers, and invoice filing.
- Support in maintaining updated registers for materials, assets, and equipment usage.
- Assist with staff attendance records and timesheets as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably at a construction or project site.
- Basic understanding of cost tracking and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle tasks with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu is a plus).
