Most accounting roles ask you to maintain the books. This one asks you to own them — and make them mean something.
We're a fast-growing financial advisory firm building the systems and team to scale. We need someone who sees the story inside the numbers, takes pride in their work, and wants to help business owners make better decisions.
This Role Is For You If…
- You take ownership of your work without being managed into it
- You build systems because doing the same thing twice bothers you
- You've explained a P&L to a business owner and found it genuinely rewarding
- You're tired of roles that underutilize your potential
- You want a path into advisory work — not just bookkeeping forever
What's In It For You
- True Ownership. Own a real book of clients — not assist on someone else's
- Build Something. Shape the systems and workflows of a scaling firm
- Grow Into Advisory. A clear path into client advisory meetings and financial reviews
- Flexibility. Remote-friendly with autonomy over how you manage your work
What You'll Do
Client Financial Management
- Review and ensure accuracy of financial statements across a client portfolio
- Perform complex reconciliations and resolve historical bookkeeping issues
- Produce monthly financial reports that are meaningful, not just accurate
- Flag unusual trends, risks, or inconsistencies proactively
Advisory Support
- Prepare materials for client financial review meetings
- Communicate clearly with clients via phone, email, and text
- Grow into leading monthly financial reviews independently
Team Leadership
- Supervise a junior bookkeeper — assign, review, and set standards
Systems & SOPs
- Build and document repeatable workflows and internal SOPs
- Support new client onboarding and financial system setup
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency across the team
