Accountant (Consultant)

Job brief

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to provide accounting services to multiple clients. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and supporting clients with their accounting and financial needs.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Prepare and record journal entries
• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple clients
• Prepare monthly financial reports
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing
• Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
• Communicate with clients regarding accounting matters
• Coordinate with external CPAs and tax professionals as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 2–3 years of accounting experience
• Experience handling multiple clients (preferred)
• Knowledge of accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $33,943.00 - $45,000.00 per year
