Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our contracting company in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the financial health of the organization. Previous experience in the contracting or construction sector is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, examine, and maintain accurate financial records, statements, and reports.
• Handle accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations.
• Monitor project costs, expenses, and budgets to ensure accurate cost allocation.
• Manage petty cash, supplier payments, and payroll coordination.
• Assist in financial forecasting, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT, Zakat, and other regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders as required.
• Support management with timely financial insights for decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, preferably in contracting or construction companies.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi accounting regulations, VAT, and Zakat.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or Oracle).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and reporting abilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
