Accountant ( Female ONLY)

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts for both entities in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations
  • Record all transactions including:
  • Sales, POS revenues, and collections (salon & trading)
  • Purchases, expenses, accruals, and provisions
  • Bank, cash, and credit card transactions
  • Perform monthly bank, cash, and intercompany reconciliations
  • Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules

2. Monthly Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly management accounts for each entity, including:
  • Profit & Loss Statement
  • Balance Sheet
  • Cash Flow Statement
  • Analyze variances vs budget and prior periods
  • Provide management with clear financial insights on performance, margins, and costs
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing

3. VAT Compliance (UAE)

  • Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns accurately and on time
  • Ensure correct VAT treatment of:
  • Salon services and retail products
  • Trading invoices, imports, and expenses
  • Maintain VAT documentation and audit trail
  • Handle VAT reconciliations and respond to FTA queries if required

4. Corporate Tax (CT) Compliance

  • Maintain accounting records aligned with UAE Corporate Tax Law
  • Prepare Corporate Tax computations and schedules
  • Coordinate and support CT return submission
  • Liaise with tax advisors where required

5. Payroll & WPS

  • Prepare monthly payroll for both companies
  • Ensure compliance with:
  • MOHRE regulations
  • UAE labor law
  • WPS submission requirements
  • Process salaries, allowances, bonus (especially salon staff), deductions, and leave settlements
  • Maintain accurate employee payroll records

6. Audit & External Coordination

  • Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors
  • Prepare audit schedules, confirmations, and supporting documents
  • Coordinate annual audits and ensure timely closure
  • Support management during financial and tax audits

7. Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure proper financial controls and approval processes
  • Maintain organized accounting files and documentation
  • Support implementation of accounting systems, policies, and procedures
  • Ensure confidentiality and data integrity at all times

Systems & Tools

· Maintain accounting records using approved accounting software (e.g., Zoho, Odoo, QuickBooks or similar)

· Ensure accurate system setup for VAT and CT

· Maintain Excel-based schedules and reconciliations

Qualifications & ExperienceEducation

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

· Professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA) are a strong advantage

Experience

· Minimum 7-10 years of accounting experience in the UAE

· Proven experience with VAT filing and UAE Corporate Tax

· Experience handling multiple entities is required

· Experience in retail, salon, hospitality, or trading companies is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

· Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations

· Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

· High attention to detail and accuracy

· Strong organizational and time-management skills

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

· Professional communication skills for coordination with auditors and advisors

High level of integrity and confidentiality

Pay: Up to AED8,000.00 per month
