Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with experience in FMCG trading, import/export, or distribution companies. The role involves managing financial transactions, monitoring trade-related costs, and supporting accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accounting records
• Handle import/export invoices, supplier payments, and customer collections
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations
• Assist with monthly closing and financial reports
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations
• Coordinate with sales, logistics, and operations teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience (FMCG trading/import-export preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and VAT
• Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables preferred)
• Experience with ERP or accounting software is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Preferred Candidate

• Experience working in FMCG trading or distribution companies in the UAE
• Familiar with import/export documentation and costing

Salary: Competitive (based on experience)
