Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile General Ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions accurately.
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and intercompany accounts.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable entries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements.
- Support audit activities by providing documentation and explanations as required.
- Monitor cash flow and petty cash transactions.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve processes and internal controls.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (preferably in a similar role).
- Strong knowledge of General Ledger accounting and reconciliation.
- Proficiency in bookkeeping and transaction recording.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
