Role overview
We’re looking for a female candidate with solid experience in accounting, HR, and operations for small to medium-sized businesses. This is a multi-functional role, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, can wear multiple hats, and is excited to grow with a mission-driven team working with a limited startup budget.
Key responsibilities1. Accounting & Finance
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for a small business
- Handle invoices, payments, petty cash, reconciliations, and monthly closing
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and expense summaries
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Liaise with auditors, banks, and external accountants as required
2. Human Resources
- Manage employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and leave tracking
- Assist with payroll processing and compliance with Qatar labor law
- Support team culture, internal communication, and performance processes
3. Operations & Administration
- Oversee daily operational activities at our studios
- Coordinate schedules, supplies, vendors, and logistics
- Ensure smooth running of programs, classes, and events
- Maintain operational checklists, SOPs, and reporting systems
- Work closely with the founder to support business execution
Candidate requirements
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in Qatar, overall 5+ years in accounting/HR/operations
- Proven experience managing SME accounts and day-to-day operations
- Strong understanding of Qatar labor law, finance procedures, and compliance
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Confident using accounting software, Excel/Sheets, and digital tools
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-conscious startup environment
