Role overview

We’re looking for a female candidate with solid experience in accounting, HR, and operations for small to medium-sized businesses. This is a multi-functional role, ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, can wear multiple hats, and is excited to grow with a mission-driven team working with a limited startup budget.

Key responsibilities1. Accounting & Finance

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting for a small business
  • Handle invoices, payments, petty cash, reconciliations, and monthly closing
  • Prepare financial reports, statements, and expense summaries
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and external accountants as required

2. Human Resources

  • Manage employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
  • Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and leave tracking
  • Assist with payroll processing and compliance with Qatar labor law
  • Support team culture, internal communication, and performance processes

3. Operations & Administration

  • Oversee daily operational activities at our studios
  • Coordinate schedules, supplies, vendors, and logistics
  • Ensure smooth running of programs, classes, and events
  • Maintain operational checklists, SOPs, and reporting systems
  • Work closely with the founder to support business execution

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in Qatar, overall 5+ years in accounting/HR/operations
  • Proven experience managing SME accounts and day-to-day operations
  • Strong understanding of Qatar labor law, finance procedures, and compliance
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Confident using accounting software, Excel/Sheets, and digital tools
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, resource-conscious startup environment
  • Female candidates only (due to team and operational requirements)
