Accountant Intern (Female)

Zpayso is seeking a Female Accountant Intern to join our finance team. This is a paid internship opportunity designed to provide hands-on experience in accounting operations within a fintech environment. The selected candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, supporting reporting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in recording and maintaining financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles.
• Support preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.
• Assist in accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice preparation and payment tracking.
• Maintain general ledger entries and financial documentation.
• Support bank reconciliations and monitor daily transactions.
• Assist in documentation related to income tax, sales tax, and withholding tax filings.
• Organize financial records for audits and compliance reviews.
• Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) – Completed.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and Pakistani tax regulations with minimum 3 months of internship, training, or practical exposure.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks/ERP) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a professional environment.
