Accountant (Odoo Accounting)

We are a UAE-based contracting company seeking an Accountant with at least 2 years of experience and strong knowledge of Odoo Accounting, inventory, and procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting using the Odoo Accounting System
• Handle inventory accounting, stock valuation, and reconciliation
• Record and monitor procurement transactions (POs, GRNs, supplier invoices)
• Prepare financial reports, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations
• Coordinate with procurement and operations teams for accurate cost control
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in the UAE
• Hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting
• Knowledgeable in inventory and procurement accounting
• Experience in a contracting/construction company is an advantage
• Familiar with UAE VAT
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
