Accountant – Restaurant Chain

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with experience in restaurant chain / F&B operations to manage daily accounting activities, financial reporting, reconciliations, VAT compliance, and ERP system operations across multiple restaurant outlets.

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Financial Operations

• Monitor daily financial transactions including sales, purchases, inventory, expenses, and cash flow
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Prepare daily sales and financial reports
• Supervise cash handling and outlet revenue reconciliation

2. Account Reconciliation

• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances
• Reconcile POS transactions, credit card settlements, and delivery platform sales (Talabat, Jahez, Keeta, etc.)
• Verify inventory records and Cost of Goods Sold.
• Investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions

3. Financial Management & Reporting

• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Support payroll processing and staff financial records
• Prepare monthly financial statements and Profit & Loss reports
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
• Handle VAT filing and ensure Bahrain regulatory compliance
• Coordinate with external auditors

4. ERP & System Management

• Operate accounting functions using Zoho Books and Odoo ERP
• Ensure accurate system reconciliation and reporting
• Improve accounting workflows and system efficiency

5. Administrative & HR Support

• Maintain financial filing and documentation systems
• Support HR administration and payroll coordination
• Work closely with operations and procurement teams
• Assist management with financial analysis and decision-making

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1–3 years accounting experience (Restaurant/F&B preferred)
• Experience in multi-outlet accounting is an advantage
• Knowledge of Zoho Books / Odoo ERP
• Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
• Knowledge of Bahrain VAT regulations
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Local transfer candidates only

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD250.000 - BD350.000 per month
