Job Summary:
The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience in managing day-to-day accounting tasks to support the organization’s financial operations
Responsibilities :

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accordance with accounting standards.

Ensure all transactions are recorded in the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.

. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management and external stakeholder.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.

Follow up with clients for outstanding payments and reconcile aging reports.

Perform monthly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts.

Resolve discrepancies and ensure accurate and timely financial data.

Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring all employee compensation, deductions, and benefits are accurately recorded.

Prepare and submit tax filings and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Assist with tax planning and liaise with external auditors for tax preparation.

Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

Monitor financial performance and provide support for cost control and efficiency improvements
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field , or other relevant certifications are a plus.

2-3 experience years as an Accountant

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP, or similar) and advanced Excel skills. Detail-Oriented with strong organizational skills.

Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).

Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
