About Helen and Sons

Helen and Sons is a growing consultancy firm providing Accounting, Bookkeeping, VAT, Corporate Tax, Audit Support, and Business Advisory services to businesses across the UAE.

We are looking for an experienced Accountant who can independently manage client accounts, ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations, and provide professional support to clients on accounting and tax-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle accounting and bookkeeping for multiple client portfolios
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries using Zoho Books
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations
• Assist with Corporate Tax registration, compliance, and return filing
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
• Coordinate with clients to collect accounting records and supporting documents
• Respond to client inquiries related to Accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial compliance
• Assist clients in understanding filing requirements and statutory deadlines
• Support audit engagements and liaise with auditors when required
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards and tax regulations

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in Accounting and Bookkeeping
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
• Experience handling multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Previous experience in an Accounting, Tax, Audit, or Consultancy firm is highly preferred
• Hands-on experience with Zoho Books (Mandatory)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting
• Excellent communication and client management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
• Fluent in English

Preferred Skills

• Experience dealing with FTA portals and tax submissions
• Ability to advise clients on accounting and compliance matters
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in preparing audit-ready financial statements
