Accountant (Accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax & Audit Experience in UAE)

A well known tax consultancy firm in UAE is looking for an Accounting in its Islamabad office with experience in Bookkeeping, VAT, Corporate Tax, Audit Support, Business Setup, and Regulatory Compliance.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage accounting and bookkeeping for UAE-based clients.

· Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with IFRS.

· Prepare and file UAE VAT Returns accurately and on time.

· Prepare Corporate Tax computations and Corporate Tax Returns.

· Handle Corporate Tax and VAT registrations, amendments, and deregistrations.

· Support audit engagements by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and working papers.

· Perform bank, supplier, customer, and ledger reconciliations.

· Review clients' accounting records and identify compliance issues.

· Monitor all statutory deadlines and ensure timely submissions to avoid penalties.

· Handle penalty waiver applications and communicate effectively with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) where required.

· Coordinate directly with clients to obtain missing information and resolve accounting issues.

· Maintain complete documentation and client records.

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor's Degree (B.Com, BBA Accounting, BS Accounting & Finance, ACCA, CA Inter or equivalent).

· Minimum 2 years of hands-on UAE Accounting, VAT, Corporate Tax, and Audit experience.

· Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Strong understanding of:· UAE VAT· UAE Corporate Tax· IFRS

· Accounting principles

· Experience working with accounting software such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo, or similar ERP systems.

· Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Job Location: I-10 Islamabad, Pakistan (Onsite)

Working Days: Monday-Friday

Job Timings: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Job Type: Full-Time (Office-Based Only)

Salary Range: PKR 100,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience and performance)
