Senior Accountant-UK

Location: Soan Gardens, Islamabad
Working Hours: 1 PM to 9 PM

Pay: 130,000 (PKR) - 150,000 (PKR) per month

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced accountant who has work experience with a UK based company. As an accountant, you will perform a variety of professional level accounting duties involved in preparing, maintaining, analyzing, verifying, and reconciling complex financial transactions, Budgeting, Reconciliation, Cash Flow management, statements, records, and reports; maintains the accuracy of the Company’s ledgers and subsidiary financial systems; assists in the preparation of assigned budgets, annual audit, and year end closing.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Accounts Payable & Receivable Management
• Preparing of financial statements & Bookkeeping on QuickBooks, Xero & Sage.
• Payroll Management.
• Withholding Tax Filling & Value Added Tax (VAT).
• Invoice & Billing, Financial Statements and Analysis.
• Bank Reconciliations, Budgeting & Forecasting.
• Detailed reconciliation of credit and cash payments, driver payments and bookings.
• Management accounts
• Cash flow Management
• Produce error-free accounting reports and present their results.
• Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.

Required skills/qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Accountant with UK based companies/projects.
• Exceptional communication skills
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, especially SAGE, QuickBooks, & MS Office.
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with 4 years of work experience.
• Member of ACCA /CA/ICMA or other accountancy body.

Pay: Rs130,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
