Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting business decision-making through timely financial insights. The position requires a professional who is well-organized, presentable, and possesses strong communication skills. The role reports directly to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update accurate financial records and documentation
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow
• Assist with inventory management and retail financial operations
• Prepare and file statutory returns including GST, TDS, and other applicable taxes
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and internal audits
• Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits
• Provide financial updates and reports directly to the CEO

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant accounting experience
• Industry: Experience in the retail sector will be an added advantage
• Education: Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Finance
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Presentation: Professional and well-groomed appearance
• Age: Not more than 35 years
• Availability: Immediate joiners or those with a short notice period will be given preference
• Preference: Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, etc.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliance
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently
