Accountant/Bookkeeper (Female Candidate)

Car Habibi, Dubai’s premier car customization and accessories brand, is looking for a meticulous and organized Accountant.

As we scale our operations in Dubai, we need a sharp financial professional to manage our daily transactions, inventory costs, and financial reporting. You will ensure that while we are busy transforming cars, our "engine room" (finance) is running smoothly, transparently, and accurately.

Job Role

You will manage the full accounting cycle for the showroom and workshop operations.

• Financial Record Keeping: Record all daily sales, purchases, and expenses into the accounting software.
• Inventory Management: Work closely with the workshop team to track stock levels of expensive materials like PPF rolls, Android screens, and paints.
• Payment Processing: Manage accounts payable (suppliers) and accounts receivable (corporate clients/customers).
• VAT Compliance: Prepare and file quarterly VAT returns in accordance with UAE FTA regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Reconciliation: Reconcile cash, card, and bank transactions every evening to ensure showroom sales match the books.
• Payroll Management: Process monthly salaries and commissions for the sales and technical teams.
• Cost Analysis: Track the "Cost of Goods Sold" (COGS) to help management understand the profitability of services like Wrapping vs. Audio.
• Budgeting: Assist in forecasting expenses for new branches or large equipment purchases.
• Documentation: Maintain a digital and physical filing system that is audit-ready at all times.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE retail or automotive sector.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Software Mastery: Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills are a must.
• UAE Law Knowledge: Deep understanding of UAE VAT laws and standard accounting principles (IFRS).
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy—at Car Habibi, we believe the numbers should be as clean as our car wraps.
• Language: Fluent English is required.
