ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Responsible for Accounts Payable (A/P) and assisting the Finance Director with other fiscal reports as needed.
· Responsible for Payroll, including entering retirement benefits.
· Assist the Director in completion of annual health insurance roll-out and maintenance of HR records.
· Complete new and maintain 3rd party payor credentialing for the organization and therapy staff.
· Greet clients, visitors, and vendors in a welcoming manner.
· Provide assistance to clients or community members who contact the agency seeking information or to schedule an appointment.
· Complete intakes for new clients, in a timely manner. This includes all designated paperwork, releases, and the development of a payment plan.
EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
· Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred. High School diploma required.
· Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance billing.
· Experience required (2+ years in an office setting).
· Experience using Quickbooks required.
· Skills to adequately relate to people in stressful situations.
· Proficiency in computer, technology and software.
