Accounting Assistant Manager

We are looking for a “ Accounting Assistant Manager ” to be assigned to our “ Financial Affairs, Global Shipbuilding, Global Infrastructure and Fleet Management” located in “ İstanbul- Kağıthane


WHAT DO WE EXPECT?


  • Graduated from relevant departments of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of four-year universities,
  • Having 7+ years of general accounting work experience in multiple corporate structures,
  • Proficient in the uniform chart of accounts,
  • Possessing technical skills in preparing financial statements and reporting,
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office / Microsoft 365 / Excel applications, knowledge and experience with SAP,
  • Preferably having experience in preparing IFRS financial statements,
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, positive and team-oriented,
  • Good command of English (both written and verbal)
  • Possessing problem-solving and analytical thinking skills,
  • Developed planning and time management skills,
  • Careful, detail-oriented, responsible and solution-focused,
  • Adept at learning and generating new ideas,
  • No travel restrictions.


WHAT AWAITS YOU?


  • Conducting general accounting processes in accordance with legal regulations, IFRS, and company standards,
  • Bank record checks – making necessary entries,
  • Monitoring and controlling transactions related to the finance department,
  • Managing and reporting current account reconciliation processes with suppliers on a periodic basis,
  • Written and verbal communication and reconciliation processes with overseas offices and stakeholders,
  • Providing support in period-end closing procedures and trial balance control processes,
  • Establishing the infrastructure for the preparation of financial and management reports.
