We are seeking a flexible Accounting Assistant to perform accounting tasks to support a small business team. Responsibilities include inventory receiving, entering financial transactions into our databases and reconciling invoices. If you are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping in a small business setting, we’d like to meet you. Should you be hired, you would help our company run smoothly, ensuring efficiency in all transactions. This position could be part-time or full time.
Responsibilities
· Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
· Prepare bank deposits
· Enter financial transactions into internal databases
· Check spreadsheets for accuracy
· Update and maintain customer and vendor accounts
· Issue invoices to customers and external partners
· Check and receive Invoices from vendors
Requirements
· Work experience as an Accounting Assistant or Accounting Clerk
· Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
· Familiarity with finance regulations
· Good math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
· Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software
· Organization skills
· Teamwork ability and flexibility, to work with 3 or 4 departments
· Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
