Position Summary
The Accounting Associate supports the company’s financial operations by maintaining accurate records, processing transactions, and assisting with reporting. This role plays a key part in ensuring timely and organized handling of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting functions.
Compensation
- Starting Salary: $45,000 annually

Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Enter invoices, expenses, and journal entries into accounting systems
- Assist with bank and account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Support monthly and year-end closing processes
- Track outstanding invoices and assist with collections follow-ups
- Help organize and monitor vendor and subcontractor payments
- Assist with payroll support and expense tracking as needed
- Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and procedures
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or coding discrepancies
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion

Work Environment
- Office-based role with standard business hours
