Accounting Consultant - Dubai

We are looking for an Accounting Education Expert to join our team and enhance our educational offerings in Odoo accounting for the Middle Eastern market.

The Accounting Education Officer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering educational programs focused on Odoo's accounting module. This role involves working closely with external partners, clients, and stakeholders to ensure the highest quality of training materials and delivery methods, enabling users to effectively utilize Odoo accounting functionalities. As an Accounting Education Officer, you will work closely with the Education team and the external finance teams of our clients and be responsible for the following tasks:

Responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive curricula and Odoo accounting training programs
• Ensure that curricula align with Odoo's features, industry standards, and best practices
• Create engaging and effective instructional materials, including lesson plans, video tutorials, handouts, and online resources.
• Develop assessment tools to measure learning outcomes and program effectiveness
• Deliver Odoo accounting training programs through various formats, including in-person, online, and hybrid methods
• Facilitate workshops, seminars, and training sessions for diverse audiences
• Provide one-on-one or small group support and troubleshooting assistance
• Work closely with Odoo experts, developers, and other subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance
• Collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams to tailor educational programs to specific needs and requirements
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to promote educational offerings and gather feedback for continuous improvement

Profile

• Bachelor degree or higher (ideally in Accounting, or Information Systems )
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
• Teaching skills: Being at ease to present in front of a large audience, and interact with a classroom or a workshop
• Academic mindset: attention to detail, curious, rigorous

Must Have

• Accounting Background
• Strong business acumen
• Highly creative and autonomous

Nice to have

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is highly desirable
• ERP Experience
• Teaching experience
• Strong analytical skills
