Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Accounting & HR Manager with at least 5 years of experience managing both accounting and human resources functions. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and feels comfortable wearing multiple hats. You will oversee day-to-day accounting operations, payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, and general office management—helping to keep our business operating smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of company accounting, including accounts payable/receivable, monthly financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliations.
  • Handle payroll processing, employee records, and benefits administration.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Oversee recruiting, onboarding, and performance review processes.
  • Support company leadership in financial planning and HR strategy.
  • Manage office operations and ensure an organized, professional work environment.
  • Report directly to the President and support company goals and initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of combined experience in accounting and human resources roles.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles and employment law.
  • Proficiency in accounting and HR software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, payroll systems).
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of AI tools for accounting & HR functions a plus.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
