Job Purpose:

We are seeking a highly experienced Accounting, Inventory & Internal Audit Consultant to support our organization in strengthening and formalizing accounting systems, internal controls, and audit procedures. The consultant will work closely with senior management to design, review, and implement robust financial and operational frameworks aligned with best practices.

Scope of Work:

The consultant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

· Review and design of accounting policies, procedures, and internal control systems

· Development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for accounting and finance functions

· Design and implementation of internal audit frameworks and audit programs

· Development of inventory management and inventory audit procedures

· Review of existing accounting records, processes, and controls to identify gaps and risks

· Advisory support on financial reporting, compliance, and control improvements

· Training and guidance of in-house accounting staff on improved systems and controls

Required Profile

· Qualified CA / ACCA / CMA / CPA (or equivalent professional qualification)

· 10+ years of hands-on experience in:

o Accounting and financial reporting

o Internal audit and risk management

o Inventory accounting and audit procedures

· Prior experience in consulting, advisory, or senior managerial roles is strongly preferred

· Strong understanding of practical accounting systems

· Experience in retail, trading, or manufacturing environments will be an advantage

· Ability to independently design systems and provide actionable recommendations

· Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
