Accounting Manager

This generalist role demands a deep understanding of accounting principles, cash flow management, financial analysis, reporting, and risk management.

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or Engineering
• More than 9 years of experience in finance, preferably within the fast moving consumer goods industry Experience working in a fast-paced environment is a plus
• Proven track record of success in managing financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow management, risk mitigation and costing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments, including sales, operations, and senior management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the annual budget, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
• Oversee all financial transactions, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and prepare cash flow
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, including financial modeling and scenario planning
• Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and financial institutions
• Ensure compliance with all regulations related to finance management
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Develop and implement effective cash flow management strategies to optimize liquidity and minimize risks
• Manage foreign exchange transactions and mitigate foreign exchange risk
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in finance
• Partner with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making
