Accounting Manager

Candidates must currently be in the UAE (Applicants with limited UAE experience are welcome if they have solid background & experience in other countries)

Education: CA, ACCA, CMA qualified candidates
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG or trading industry. (Min 3 years in a Managerial role)

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.

· Prepare accurate financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and management reports. (monthly, quarterly & annually)

· Ensure compliance with IFRS.

· Monitor and analyze product costing and margins.

· Work closely with the warehouse and procurement teams to control inventory and prevent losses.

· Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.

· Manage company cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.

· Forecast payments and receivables to maintain working capital efficiency.

· Coordinate with banks regarding opening new account’s or updating company information.

· Preparing annual budgets and forecasts.

· Monitor actual performance against budgets and highlight variances.

· Ensure compliance with VAT, corporate tax, and other government regulations.

· Communicating, support and provide all requirements to external and internal auditors.

· Supervise and guide the accounting team.

· Ensure timely closing of accounts and review their work for accuracy.

· Advise management on cost reduction and profit improvement opportunities.

• Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, VAT, and UAE Corporate Tax regulations..

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
