Accounting Manager - Part Time

Platinum Property Management is an innovative real estate company with a growing property management division. We elevate the ownership experience by combining precision, efficiency, and outstanding service.

We’re seeking an Accounting Manager who thrives on accuracy, accountability, and problem-solving — someone who understands numbers, sees the ripple effect of every transaction, and drives smarter financial decisions.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) for 150+ properties
  • Oversee accounting for move-ins, move-outs, tenant accounts, and owner statements
  • Process and reconcile Security Deposits per state regulations
  • Manage collections, reporting, and payment tracking
  • Generate annual 1099s and maintain compliance
  • Audit and analyze financial reports to identify savings and improve efficiency
  • Run diagnostics, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows
  • Collaborate with leadership to implement efficient financial systems and policies
  • Participate in weekly meetings and maintain professional communication with clients, vendors, and team members

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience
  • 5+ years property management transactions
  • Proficiency with AppFolio Property Management Software or similar
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Intuit
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and general PC/Internet use
  • Deep understanding of property management accounting practices
  • Meticulous attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage time, and thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative, professional, adaptable, and resourceful

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
