Position Summary:
The Accounting Officer will oversee day-to-day financial transactions, ensure the accuracy of financial data, assist in preparing financial reports, and support compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger activities, including posting all financial transactions and journal entries into the accounting system and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable processes with accuracy and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors and assist with internal and external audits.
• Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions.
• Recommend improvements to financial systems and processes where applicable.
• Support other accounting and administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
