Accounting Specialist

Now we are looking for an Accounting Specialist who has the following criteria and will add strength to our team.


Job Description

  • Responsible for the accounting (supplier and client invoices, bank statements, petty cash, travel expenses, bookings related to month end closing) for our Turkish company including 2 branches
  • Preparation of monthly and yearly closings
  • Issuing of client and intercompany invoices
  • Bank and Cash Transactions
  • Reconciliation of all accounts (supplier, client, salary etc.)
  • Communication with external auditors, tax consultants, tax office, other institutions
  • Close collaboration with Payroll Accounting and Group Controlling
  • General administrative tasks (mail handling, petty cash)


Requirements

  • Residency in İstanbul
  • Have a bachelor's degree in related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting department
  • Good knowledge in Turkish fiscal law
  • Advanced level knowledge in Excel
  • Advanced level language proficiency in English
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and handle complexity, change and ambiguity
  • Being a good team player
