Accounting Specialist – ASICS Türkiye

As part of our ongoing growth journey in Türkiye, we are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Specialist to join our dynamic finance team in Istanbul.

As Accounting Specialist , you will be responsible for supporting end-to-end accounting operations, including invoice processing, inventory tracking, and bank reconciliations. You will ensure the accuracy and compliance of all financial transactions while supporting month-end and year-end closings in line with ASICS’ global standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and process incoming and outgoing invoices accurately, including return invoices
• Issue and revise sales invoices in compliance with legal and internal requirements
• Track inventory and maintain accurate product stock records in coordination with vendors and internal teams
• Manage daily bank transactions and perform bank reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Conduct account reconciliations with vendors and customers
• Communicate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation
• Follow up on official reporting processes (TÜİK submissions, Consumer Arbitration Board correspondence, e-notifications)
• Work with Luca accounting software initially; transition to Oracle within the year and to SAP in the following phase

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance operations
• Strong knowledge of invoice management, general ledger entries, and reconciliation processes
• Experience with inventory and stock tracking
• Familiarity with Luca or similar accounting programs; knowledge of Oracle or SAP is a strong advantage
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Good command of English (written and verbal)
• Organized, analytical, and detail-oriented with strong documentation and follow-up skills
• Experience in e-commerce or retail environments is an asset
