Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities:

· Assist with processing Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and customer billing/invoices activities.

· Exercise sound judgment when resolving complex accounting matters related to billing, credit, and account discrepancies.

· Support Month-End Close.

· Review and verify employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policy.

· Reconcile AP and AR subledgers to the general ledger to ensure accuracy and completeness.

· Perform monthly bank reconciliations and research variances as needed.

· Process, reconcile, and maintain various company credit card accounts.

· Assist with internal and external audits throughout the year by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses.

· Conduct vendor account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

· Reconcile various balance sheet accounts and ensure proper documentation and accuracy.

· Perform all other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the accounting.

· Proven experience in the accounting field.

· Must have background using Microsoft 365 Suite.

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Pay: $32.00 - $34.00 per hour
