Status: Hourly; Non-Exempt

Your Job

Trinity Sales & Rental is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Finance Team. This role supports daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and assist with month-end close, reporting, and compliance across a fast-paced, multi-location environment.

What You Will Do

• Prepare/post journal entries; reconcile general ledger, bank, and credit card accounts. Support month-end/year-end close and ensure transaction accuracy. Assist with financial statements, internal reporting, and variance analysis. Support AP/AR processes; ensure proper documentation and coding. Maintain compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and tax filings. Manage data within QBO and rental/payment software; support system integrations. Use Excel for reconciliations and analysis. Serve as system/user administrator for rental/payment platforms.

Who You Are (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent experience. 1–4 years accounting experience. Working knowledge of GAAP; strong Excel skills. Proficiency with QBO; strong attention to detail.

What Will Put You Ahead

• Proficiency with QBO or similar systems and strong Excel skills (reconciliations, formulas, analysis) Experience with month-end close, financial reporting, payroll processes, and multi-state tax compliance Familiarity with internal controls, audit support, and fast-paced or multi-location environments
