SUMMARY
The Accounting Supervisor reports directly to the Corporate Controller, will manager one Accounts Payable employee, and be a critical contributor to the day-to-day and month-end financial operations of the company. This position will ensure accurate coding of transactions and timely reporting in accordance with GAAP. The ideal candidate thrives as an ERP subject matter expert (SME), has experience working for a manufacturer, is detail-oriented, self-driven, process improvement minded, and collaborative. Additionally, candidates must be able to prioritize tasks while also meeting important deadlines. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance strongly preferred

5–10 years of progressive accounting experience.

Strong understanding of GAAP

Experience supervising direct reports strongly preferred

Experience with cost accounting and inventory management preferred

Experience with project-based revenue recognition (POC) is strongly preferred
-
Experience supporting financial audits and internal controls
SKILLS

High Attention to detail and accuracy

Advanced in Microsoft Excel

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines

Proficiency in Dynamics 365 Business Central and Adaptive Insights(Workday product) is preferred
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY

This position will supervise the Accounts Payable role.
