The Accounts Administrator is responsible for supporting day-to-day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and providing administrative support to the finance department. This role ensures timely processing of invoices, payments, payroll assistance, and general accounting duties to support smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

*Accounts & Finance

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
  • Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and credit cards
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Prepare and issue invoices and receipts
  • Monitor customer accounts and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Process staff expense claims and petty cash
  • Assist with payroll preparation and employee time sheets (if applicable)

*Administration

  • Maintain filing systems (digital & physical) for financial documents
  • Assist with audits by preparing necessary documentation
  • Manage office administrative tasks related to finance
  • Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams

*Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Handle confidential financial information securely

*Skills & Qualifications

  • Essential
  • Proven experience in accounts or administration
  • Knowledge of basic accounting principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software - QuickBooks
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of Hindi language

*Preferred

  • Certificate in Accounting, Business Administration, or similar
  • Understanding of payroll processing
  • Experience in preparing basic reports or financial summaries

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
