Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Accountant / Financial Manager to manage the company’s financial operations, ensure accurate accounting records, maintain compliance with statutory requirements, and support management with financial planning and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses, and profitability to ensure financial stability.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and local statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Prepare and review VAT returns, tax filings, and other statutory submissions.
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
• Analyze financial data and provide strategic recommendations to management.
• Supervise and guide junior accounting staff, if applicable.
• Ensure proper documentation and safe record-keeping of all financial transactions.

Required Experience

• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management.
• Proven experience in managing company finances, budgeting, and audits.
• Experience in construction, contracting, or project-based industries will be an added advantage.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and cost control.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems).
• Good understanding of VAT, taxation, and financial compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (mandatory).
• Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent will be highly preferred.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
