Accounts Assistant

About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant Assistant to join our finance team. In this role, you will support the day-to-day accounting functions, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, payment follow-ups, and account reconciliations. Your work will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, supporting project accounting, and maintaining compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily bookkeeping and accounting operations
• Support month-end and year-end account closing activities
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including profit & loss, cash flow, and profitability reports
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable, accounts payable, and post-dated checks
• Prepare financial reporting packages for management
• Support project accounting, cost tracking, and feasibility analysis
• Follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar)
• Strong understanding of chart of accounts, inventory management, and project accounting

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month

• Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
