Accounts Assistant

Lahore, Pakistan

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to become a vital part of our Accounts & Finance team. This role is specifically focused on the unique financial operations of our e-commerce business. Incumbent will be responsible for the accurate recording and reconciliation of online sales, managing transactions with various portals and couriers.

Duties & Responsibilities

· Update and manage Sales Book from online sales portals.

· Record and reconcile Returns from online portals and couriers.

· Update and maintain Bank & Parties Ledger.

· Perform daily cash closing and update local returns in the Sales Book.

· Record and update commission entries in the Sales Book.

· Prepare and maintain Sales Tax Sheets of all portals on a daily basis.

· Reconcile payments received from courier services with parcel amounts daily.

· Manage purchase invoices and reconcile with physical stock received.

· Prepare and manage bank-related documents and tasks.

· Assist in the disbursement of salaries (both bank transfers and cash).

Qualifications & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com)

· 2-3 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role.

Skills, Knowledge & Competencies

· Hands-on experience of bookkeeping principles, double-entry system, and ledger maintenance.

· Exceptional accuracy is required for processing high-volume transactions and identifying discrepancies.

· Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple reconciliations daily, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
