Accounts Assistant

Job Title: Accounts Executive

Location: Bangalore
Experience: 1–2 Years
Industry Preference: Candidates with experience in CA Office preferred

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of GST, TDS, bookkeeping, and general accounting principles, with good working skills in MS Excel.

Key Responsibilities:1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain accurate books of accounts on a regular basis
  • Record journal entries, purchase entries, sales entries, and bank transactions
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ledger scrutiny
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities

2. GST & Taxation

  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
  • Reconcile GST data with books of accounts
  • Ensure compliance with GST regulations
  • Prepare and file TDS returns and maintain TDS records

3. Invoicing & Billing

  • Generate and manage customer invoices
  • Ensure timely vendor payments and follow-ups
  • Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions

4. Cash Flow Management

  • Monitor daily cash flow and prepare cash flow statements
  • Track receivables and payables
  • Assist in managing working capital requirements

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents
  • Coordinate with auditors and CA for statutory audits
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of GST and TDS compliance
  • Sound knowledge of bookkeeping and general accounting principles
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas)
  • Familiarity with accounting software (Tally or similar)
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.Com / M.Com (or equivalent qualification)
  • Experience working in a CA office will be an added advantage
