About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Assistant to support our growing e-commerce business. The ideal candidate should have strong Excel skills, experience with financial reconciliations, logistics-related accounting, and the ability to manage large volumes of transactions across multiple sales channels and payment gateways.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain daily accounting records and financial transactions.

Perform bank, cash, and payment gateway reconciliations.

Verify COD (Cash on Delivery) collections and logistics partner settlements.

Reconcile courier and logistics accounts (Leopards, TCS, M&P, Call Courier, etc.).

Process vendor invoices, payments, and expense entries.

Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records.

Coordinate with operations, logistics, and customer support teams regarding payment discrepancies.

Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial records.

Support audit requirements and compliance procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.

1–3 years of accounting experience (E-commerce experience preferred).

Strong command of Microsoft Excel including:

VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP

Pivot Tables

Conditional Formatting

Data Validation

Basic Financial Analysis

Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, ERP, etc.).

Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

E-commerce accounting.

Marketplace reconciliation.

Payment gateway reconciliation.

Logistics and courier settlement management.
