An Accounts Executive at RPV WISY is responsible for managing financial records, supporting accounting operations, and assisting with sales-related finances, ensuring accuracy and compliance for the rainwater harvesting business.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Record Management: Maintain accurate financial records, process vouchers, invoice generation, and support monthly account reconciliation to ensure clarity and accuracy in all transactions.
- Bookkeeping & Statement Preparation: Handle bookkeeping activities in ERP systems, prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports as required for regular audits and management review.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file GST, TDS returns, and generate monthly/quarterly challans, ensuring all statutory tax obligations are met timely and accurately.
- Vendor and Client Ledger Management: Verify vendor bills, process payments, reconcile client accounts, and follow up on outstanding receivables to optimize cash flow.
- Sales Finance Support: Support the sales team by preparing invoices for filter sales, maintaining records for customer transactions, and reconciling client/partner accounts (e.g., dealers, architects, contractors).
- Reporting and Audit: Assist with internal and statutory audits, prepare periodic financial reports, and support management in budgeting and forecasting exercises.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, and project teams to resolve discrepancies, contribute to project costing, and ensure compliance for rainwater harvesting installations.
- Petty Cash & Expense Management: Manage petty cash for business operations, prepare expense vouchers, and verify branch expenditures.
Required Skills
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, and ERP/accounting software.
- Deep understanding of Indian taxation (GST/TDS) and basic corporate accounting practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating within RPV WISY departments and with clients/vendors.
- Attention to detail, organizational ability, and flexibility for long working hours, especially during audits and financial closing periods.
