Accounts Executive

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to manage daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of accounting practices, taxation compliance, and experience working in a Private Limited Company environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting activities including vouchers, journal entries, ledger postings, and reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts in Peachtree and ensure proper documentation and filing.
• Perform bank reconciliations, monitor cash flow, and process payments.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and maintain tax workings, including withholding tax, sales tax, and income tax calculations.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulatory requirements.
• Support tax filing preparation and coordinate with tax consultants or auditors when required.
• Ensure timely deduction, deposit, and reporting of applicable taxes.
• Assist with budgeting, expense monitoring, and variance analysis.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Liaise with banks, vendors, customers, auditors, and internal departments for financial matters.
• Support audit processes by providing reconciliations, schedules, and supporting documentation.

Required Qualifications

• B.Com and/or ACCA (Part-qualified candidates with strong experience are encouraged to apply).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience in a Private Limited Company.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of taxation and compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Hands-on experience with Peachtree accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
