Position Title: Accounts Executive

Salary Range 60,000 to 65,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and support month-end closing activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong accounting fundamentals, hands-on experience with General Ledger (GL) maintenance, and the ability to work in a structured, compliant, and deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain General Ledger entries on a daily basis, ensuring accurate classification and posting of heads of accounts

* Prepare and submit day-end cash closing reports

* Prepare vendor cheques and batch payments with complete and proper supporting documentation

* Perform weekly vendor ledger reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner

* Manage and control petty cash

* Bank Reconciliation on daily basis

* Maintain complete and up-to-date customer and vendor records in line with company SOPs

* Assist in monthly closing activities, including accrual entries and related accounting tasks

* Perform other routine accounting and finance-related duties as assigned by the line manager

Qualifications & Skills:

* MBA (Finance) / M.Com

* 3–5 years of relevant experience in an accounts & finance role and reconciliation

* Sound understanding of GL accounting, payments, and reconciliations

* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel

* Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills

* Ability to meet deadlines and work independently with minimal supervision

* Effective communication and documentation skills
