Accounts Executive

Job Description:

We are seeking a young Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations within our construction company. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial records, compliance with regulations, and efficient handling of accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records of vouchers, invoices, payments, and financial transactions
• Handle day-to-day accounting operations
• Prepare invoices and follow up on pending payments
• Manage all banking-related activities and ensure timely payments
• Communicate with clients and vendors via phone and email
• Maintain ledgers and manage fixed asset accounts
• Handle petty cash and monitor cash flow
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
• Prepare and manage balance sheets and profit & loss statements
• Conduct audits of financial transactions and documents
• Ensure confidentiality of financial data and maintain backups
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations
• Improve reporting procedures and internal controls
• Analyze cost/benefit scenarios and feasibility for business decisions
• Monitor budgets and revenue trends, preparing reports for management
• Support audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards
• Oversee procurement-related financial activities
• Coordinate with vendors for purchasing equipment and services

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance or B.Com
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a construction company
• Strong knowledge of MS Office specially Excel and QuickBooks (Desktop/Online)
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently, maintain accuracy and confidentiality
