Job Title: Accounts & HR Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a competent and trustworthy Accounts & HR Officer to manage our accounting, VAT, corporate tax compliance, and HR administration for our fit-out and joinery businesses. The ideal candidate must be hands-on, experienced with Zoho Accounting, and capable of independently handling VAT returns and Corporate Tax filings in the UAE.

This role is central to our operations and requires strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain complete and accurate accounts using Zoho Accounting
  • Handle daily bookkeeping, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Prepare and issue invoices, track receivables, payables, and cash flow
  • Manage petty cash, expenses, and supplier payments
  • Prepare monthly financial reports for management
  • Prepare and process payroll in coordination with management
  • Maintain proper financial records, contracts, and documentation

VAT & Corporate Tax

  • Prepare and file VAT returns in the UAE accurately and on time
  • Ensure VAT compliance, proper documentation, and audit readiness
  • Handle Corporate Tax calculations, filings, and compliance
  • Coordinate with auditors or tax consultants when required
  • Keep up to date with UAE tax regulations and requirements

HR & Administration

  • Manage employee files, contracts, and HR records
  • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Coordinate visas, labor cards, and insurance with PRO / service providers
  • Track attendance, leaves, and payroll inputs
  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor law and company policies

General Administration

  • Maintain organized company records and documentation
  • Support management with reports, summaries, and administrative tasks
  • Coordinate with suppliers and service providers on admin matters

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years UAE experience in accounting and HR/admin roles
  • Must be proficient in Zoho Accounting
  • Must have hands-on experience filing VAT returns and Corporate Tax in the UAE
  • Good knowledge of UAE tax laws, VAT regulations, and compliance procedures
  • Proficient in MS Excel and accounting systems
  • Good command of English (spoken and written)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Trustworthy and able to handle confidential company information

Nice to Have

  • Experience in construction, fit-out, or joinery companies
  • Experience dealing with auditors, banks, and government portals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
