Required Skills:
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and other day-to-day bookkeeping/accounting tools.
- Basic understanding of GST filing (not mandatory but preferred).
- Proactive approach with strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and management.
- Strong problem-solving ability and analytical mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Record daily fuel and non-fuel sales (lubricants, shop items, services).
- Verify meter readings, cash collections, credit sales, and POS transactions.
- Prepare daily sales reports and reconcile with physical cash and bank deposits.
- Monitor credit customer accounts and follow up on payments.
- Handle daily cash deposits to the bank.
- Track cash inflow/outflow and ensure proper documentation.
- Manage online transactions, digital payments, UPI settlements, and card payment reports.
- Maintain accounting of fuel stock, lubricant stock, and shop inventory.
- Track fuel shortages, evaporation loss, and reconciliation with tank readings.
- Process payments to vendors and maintain accounts payable schedules.
- Maintain GST records and ensure accurate GST filing.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
- Detect discrepancies, pilferage, or fraud and report to management..
