Accounts Manager

Our company is seeking a qualified and experienced Accounts Manager to join our team in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, excellent knowledge of financial management, and a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in Oman.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
  • Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
  • Monitor and follow up on customer collections and outstanding balances.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain banking relationships.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure proper fund management.
  • Process payments, invoices, and expense claims.
  • Coordinate with auditors and assist during audits.
  • Ensure compliance with Omani financial regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare management reports and financial analysis.
  • Support budgeting and financial planning activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in Oman.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with banking operations, reconciliations, receivables, and payables.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Knowledge of Omani tax and regulatory requirements is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
