Our company is seeking a qualified and experienced Accounts Manager to join our team in Muscat, Oman. The ideal candidate should have a strong accounting background, excellent knowledge of financial management, and a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in Oman.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting entries.
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.
- Monitor and follow up on customer collections and outstanding balances.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain banking relationships.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure proper fund management.
- Process payments, invoices, and expense claims.
- Coordinate with auditors and assist during audits.
- Ensure compliance with Omani financial regulations and company policies.
- Prepare management reports and financial analysis.
- Support budgeting and financial planning activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in Oman.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with banking operations, reconciliations, receivables, and payables.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Knowledge of Omani tax and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
