Job Responsibilities: ACCOUNTS MANAGER

  • Financial Management:
  • Overseeing the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Managing financial transactions, including invoicing, billing, and reconciliation.
  • Ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
  • Monitoring cash flow and financial performance.
  • Client Relations:
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for client inquiries and issues.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • Understanding client needs and providing appropriate solutions.
  • Resolving any billing or payment discrepancies with clients.
  • Team Management:
  • Supervising a team of accountants or finance professionals.
  • Assigning tasks and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
  • Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
  • Reporting:
  • Generating financial reports for management and clients.
  • Analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting:
  • Assisting with the development of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Tracking actual performance against budgeted targets.
  • Identifying variances and making recommendations for corrective action.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations.
  • Implementing internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate risks.
  • Software Proficiency:
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or SAP.
  • Familiarity with spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in accounting or financial management, with at least X years in a managerial role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) may be preferred or required depending on the employer.
  • Strongly preferred Arabic Speaking person
