Accounts Manager - Insurance

About the Role

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Account Manager with strong knowledge of the insurance and construction industry. This role combines operational, financial, and coordination responsibilities managing proposals, renewals, billing, insurance policy administration, and endorsements while helping maintain smooth collaboration with carriers, internal systems, and those we serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Proposal & Submission Management
• Prepare and deliver insurance proposals for renewals and new business.
• Ensure proposals include correct coverage details and premium finance options.
• Manage submissions, review materials for compliance, and maintain trackers/documentation. Policy & Financial Operations
• Process policy endorsements, cancellations, and related mid-term changes in coordination with carriers and accounting.
• Oversee billing processes, including payment collection and carrier payables.
• Manage agency-billed vs. direct-billed policies
• Coordinating with financing companies to secure finance agreements tailored to clients’ requirements.
• Enter financial and policy data into AMS 360 accurately.
• Monitor insurance receivables/payables to avoid delays or issues. Carrier & Stakeholder Coordination
• Liaise with insurance carriers on invoicing, billing, and policy-related matters.
• Communicate proposals, billing updates, and premium finance options. Other Operational Support
• Maintain internal trackers for deadlines and deliverables. Coordinate with teams to support renewals, policy lifecycle, and operational changes.
• Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Any ad hoc task coming

Qualifications

• Experienced with and possessing strong knowledge of insurance operations and the construction industry.
• Proven ability to manage policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
• Financial and billing acumen, especially agency-billed vs. direct-billed policies.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Experience with AMS360 is a strong plus (preferred, not required)
