Accounts Manager - Travel related - Lahore (In Person Role)

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to lead and manage the accounting operations of our travel agency. The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, excellent organizational skills, and demonstrated hands-on experience with Orbis accounting software and Microsoft Excel. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of all financial processes within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations, including:
  • Accounts payable and receivable
  • Bank and account reconciliations
  • General ledger maintenance
  • Invoicing and credit management
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements.
  • Maintain the integrity of financial data in Orbis , ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly and in real-time.
  • Leverage Microsoft Excel for financial analysis, reporting, and data modeling (including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs).
  • Monitor and manage company cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy related to bookings, supplier payments, commissions, and receivables.
  • Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, policies, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and financial institutions as needed.
  • Identify and implement improvements to accounting processes and systems to drive efficiency and accuracy.

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably within the travel & Tourism industry
  • Mandatory proficiency in Orbis accounting software.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, data analysis, and automation tools.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, standards, and financial regulations.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling multi-currency transactions and international supplier payments.
  • Knowledge of local tax regulations and reporting requirements.
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory).
