Accounts Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Officer to support the day-to-day operations of our Accounts & Finance department. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, hands-on experience in financial record-keeping, and the ability to ensure accuracy in all transactions. This role requires a degree in commerce (B.com or above) and prior experience in accounting or finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and ensure accurate posting of transactions.
• Support in preparation of management reports for decision-making.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

• Monitor vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
• Oversee customer billing, collections, and debtor aging reports.
• Ensure timely settlement of liabilities and follow-up on receivables.

Banking & Reconciliation

• Prepare and reconcile bank statements.
• Handle daily cash flow management and petty cash.
• Monitor company bank transactions and resolve discrepancies.

Taxation & Compliance

• Assist in preparation and filing of sales tax, income tax, and withholding statements.
• Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements.
• Support in responding to tax authorities’ queries and notices.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor and above or related field..
• 2–3 years of experience in accounts/finance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
• Attention to detail with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
